I’ve been suffering from a neck/shoulder strain since 2 days. But today, it’s become terrible. Any remedy ?

Yesterday, I slept without pillows to get better results. But when I woke up in the morning today it almost killed me. I have taken painkiller pills and rubbed ointment on my shoulder/neck. No major improvement was noticed. I can’t move my neck, head or hands. If I do it, it hurts me and I feel very much pain.

It’s happening in the right shoulder.

Please tell me any home-made remedies like hot/cold water treatment, free-hand exercise etc.

I am dying. Please help me.

Texas Electric plant resort and spa experience (just read it)?

Yesterday I toured an industrial building from the 1920′s that served as an electricity generating plant before being closed down in the 70′s. It was HUGE. I was allowed in because there were some apartments for rent next to it (the building itself was condemned and being fixed up as – bizarrely – a resort, hot tubs, palm trees and all. Talk about offending good taste. Anyway, I was being escorted around with my family, but peeled off for a bit. It was dark all over, with light coming in the yellowed windows and broken window panes. I heard a rustling overhead and looked up. Nothing. Then as I turned around, I looked again, and saw a tiny, whispy white feather descending from a high beam. A pidgeon’s nest. My youngest sister ran up and caught it in her hands. So on one hand, there were lots of stairs and all, and it was dark and had lots of fiberglass. But it felt amazing, huge and gothic and strange. Has this this feeling- like being in a huge, amazing building- happened to you?

Marriage is a home improvement project!?

I’ve just started Yahoo Answers yesterday. I had read a lot of people having marriage issues. I have a good marriage, it’s something that me and my spouse works at. Just like a house, as it needs fixing and improving as the years roll past, a marriage does also!
What kinds of things do people do to make their marriage work, making marriage and family life fun?

Should I get a new guitar?

When I bought my acoustic guitar I had no clue as to what to look for when shopping for one. The only problem is It had scratches around and on the bridge where the pins insert. (I didn’t notice that until the 1st time i replaced the strings). Now (about 3/4 yrs later) … my guitar sounds horrible and not the same as when i first had it. (or even last year) Yesterday, when I was trying to replace one of the strings, i would hear a cracking sound each time I would twist the tunning peg. I was afraid the wire was going to pop out of the bridge pin and whip me! I was doing everything correctly to my knowledge.

Can you tell me whats wrong with it? Is it the strings im using? Is it because my guitar isn’t a brand name guitar? It was on sale for like $80 or $90 (came with a sucky cardboard box .. to take home in and a guitar pick)

I’m thinking of getting a new one maybe a fender or
gibson since i used them in H.S. and i like how they sound.
Acoustic Guitar :D
o yea …. i forgot to mention the bridge pins are plastic …. if that makes a big difference.

buying on land contract…?

I got a call yesterday from someone who we called about property they had for sale (by owner) and she said they would consider a land contract. So it’s a really nice 10 acre parcel and we would love to be able to build a home on it in the future (say 2 years from now). To us this seems like it would be perfect cause we’re not ready to build just yet and we could take that time to save up for a mortgage and then roll what’s left to pay on the land into it.
We have been approved for a mortgage, but I think it would be better if we waited a couple years until we are better established credit wise. We can’t find anything we really like in our price range anyways so at least we know, when were ready, we can get what we want and it’s on land we love.
Is this a good idea?
Also, all those monthly payments, do they provide any credit benifits, say proof of rent or something like that? We are paying rent right now, but some more proof we can make another payment a month can’t hurt, right?
