Won’t the Mid-West floods help the auto industry a bit?

With all the millions of land vehicles that are damaged by flood waters, many of them can not be repaired and will be given salvage titles. Won’t this result in a sudden jump in new car sales? Also all the new cars that are flooded at the dealership parking lots will be paid for by the insurance money.

Not to mention the amount of work made possible to private contractors and Home Depot in order to fix the flood damaged buildings.

But would you agree that these floods help the auto industry make new sales?

Are there still programs in effect that allow American citizens to purchase land cheaply in the Western states

In the old days there were many Federal programs in place to promote the settling of new frontiers, pioneers were enticed to move west by vast acreage of land for sale at relatively cheap prices. My questions is if any of these programs are still in place or if there is still some way to buy land out west that is semi cost friendly.

Are the tickets for Family Values Tour 07 for Chicago land Mid West ampitheature (tweeter center) on sale yet Cos i’m not seeing them on ticketmaster.com if they are can someone link a site to where i can purchase them? thank you for any advice – also if they arent on sale wen do they go on sale

westie for sale?

i always like to keep a look out for west highland white terriers (westies) for sale relatively cheap or possibly even free to good home. my family and i have had three, and my brother and i were talking that we think it would be a great bday present for my mom to get another one, for her, and to be a little companion to ours that we have now. if you know of a place where i can find one for relatively cheap or even free to good home, please let me know. you can email me at tubafizzle89@yahoo.com.
i meant to add, our westie that we have now is from a rescue group and we are very happy with him, he is an awesome dog, and the rescue group was probably some of the nicest people we’ve ever dealt with. i didnt know whether or not they had a website tho, so, thank you “frost”.

Investing money. Should I buy gold or art?

I don’t want to put it in a bank (US$235,000). I need some liquidity so no land at this stage. Should I buy gold jewellary or art. I live in Japan and there is some wonderful art for sale here. Should I buy it and sell it when I get back to the West in a few years? I gold going up or down. I have never had excess money before and I can’t just have it lying around in my apartment. Ideas please.
