Anyone have info on a “Dry Stroke”?
I’ve searched the internet but, can’t find what I want to know. My brother had a stroke last week and can’t move his right side at all and can’t speak. He is alert and able to feed himself as he is left handed but, doesn’t seem to be making any progress in speaking or using his right side. He has physical therapy and speech therapy each day. His nurse told me today that if you don’t see significant improvement in the first 72 hrs. he most likely won’t get much better. He is 49 yrs. old and healthy. The time factor of him getting to the hospital I know hurt him as he continued to work and then drove himself home. I came in 10 mins. later and knew he had had a stroke. He couldn’t complete a sentence and kept repeating himself. I immediately took him to the hospital for treatment. I’m really concerned he may be this way forever. Any help out there would greatly be appeciated.
It is also known as a Ischemic stroke. The way I understand a wet stroke is bleeding in the brain and a dry stroke is blood clotted in the brain. His clot was just below his brain not in it.

I rent. My stove has been broken for 4 days. My landlord says it could be another week before I get one. ? 2do
I rent. My landlord basically doesn’t care about these apartments. I’ve been without an oven for 4 days. He laughed and said it could be another week before I get another one because that’s just the way it is. I offered to go buy one and deduct it from the rent, and he absolutely said no and not to charge him for it. What are my rights? How long does he have to replace my stove. Keep in mind, I also have a child. I pay my rent every month on time and have lived here 11 years.
My Dog had and Addisonian Crisis one week ago. little improvement,When will I see it?
She spent thurs night to sat afternoon in the emergency hospital on IV. She has shown little improvement since I took her home. We have been back to the vet and they said she is not dehydrated enough for IV and we should wait a week and watch her before we test her electrolytes.
When is she going to improve?
thank you for your help, it turns out she was supposed to be better and we are checking her doses. It is possible it may be somthing accompanying her illness, but hopefully most likely the wrong dosage.
