I need to find gov.grants for home improvements w/o getting all those sites that want to chg. you.?

If you look for government grants on the net all you get are pages of companies that want to charge you for information and I know there has to be a gov. website for home improvement grants.

Copyright Laws?

I want need to increas sales for my home based business I currently own 1,000 dvds I bought threw retail outlets in my area and I was thinking if I started a website that I could host all my dvds on and any customer that buys my product I will give them access to watch my movies for free for 30 days or for a year whatever. this is like a free gift if you buy my product at reqular price.

Now if I do this for my customers only is their any copyright laws involved and if their is no way around them does anyone know were I can buy movie title that I legally can show for free.

Can you tell me how to find the website for WMAQ Chicago’s HOUSE SMARTS show with Lou Manfredini?

This is a half hour show for home improvements that has a website but I can’t find it anywhere. It is usually on about 11:30 am. central time on a weekday.

for sale by owner?

I would like to buy a home in mid-Michigan and I would like to find one that an owner is trying to sell instead of a realty. How can I let owners know or what website should I go. I have went to several but the houses are very expensive. I just want a moderately priced one and owner carry or land contract. What to do?

What’s the best way to ‘flip’ my house?

I have a nice home that I purchased almost 3 years ago. It’s a 2 story home, 4bdrm, 2.5 bath, and a little over 2300sqft. This is my first home I’ve purchased since leaving the military. I purchased the home for $112K and according to zillow’s website it is now closer to $145K. I live in the NE region of San Antonio, TX.

Right now the house needs very little. My biggest concern is getting a nice patio/deck built in the backyard. My plan was to make as many improvements as I can but what sucks is I would have to do it on my credit card. I know this is a gamble but I was hoping w/ the positive sell of my house I could turn around and pay off my card and other debts.

If there’s tips to sweeten this deal or another strategy I haven’t considered I would LOVE to hear them from you! Like I mentioned before, this is my first home purchase and I’m sure there is a lot for me to learn. Any help is greatly appreciated!
