What’s the easiest and most effective way of removing wall paper?

I’m working on a remodel for a sale and the pervious owners wall papered the entire house floor to ceiling. The paper is like vinyl so it’s easy to pull off but the adhesive paper behind it is a pain. I’m trying to steam it then scrape it off with a putty knife but that takes forever. any other suggestions?

How can I do DYI home improvement in my kitchen with a hot metal pipe running down the wall?

I have a pipe in my kitchen that leads to a second floor radiator…I would love to put a cabinet on that wall, but the pipe is dead center…can it be insulated and worked around? I really have no idea what to do with it, it gets really hot in the winter.

Who was your teen hearthrob?

Mine was Jonathan Taylor Thomas during his “Home Improvement” days. I use to buy tons of teen magazines just to get his pictures and put them on my wall. Pathetic I know, but I was just a young teen. Who did you love?

how hard is it to move a wall, and what do you have to do to move one?

hiya. i am thinking of bidding on a house, but i would want to move a wall. there is a wall that goes from the front wall of the house to a doorway, and the wall is about 3 feet wide. it is perpendicular with the front wall of the house. it is between the livingroom and bedroom. it connects from the front wall to the bedroom doorway. i want keep the wall, but i want to move it about 3 feet farther away from the bedroom, thus making the bedroom a little bigger (giving it a sort of alcove) and the livingroom a little smaller. it is a one floor house and there is no electrical in that wall. how can i tell if i can move it (without the roof falling in), and how hard would it be to move it (or, more likely, knock it down and rebuild 3 feet to the left), and what would the steps be?
thanks home improvement folks!
this house has no ductwork (no forced hot air, WARM climate), and there is no electricity in this wall. when i was a kid, my dad knocked down the wall between the living room and the garage, so it can be done. so, though i thank you for your response, racedayvynls, i prefer a “can-do” attitude.:)
Aliya, what are you new? Or just, um, like the post I am trying to move?
Duh girlfirend, duh.
