Where to buy an outdoor wall sconce with an outlet built in?

had an outdoor light, the typical lantern type on my front porch that had an outlet on the side of the backplate and it was used to plug in our decorations. My husband broke it, and now we cannot plug our holiday decorations in anywhere unless we spend major money cutting a hole in our brick and ruining our front room wall. Do they still make these sort of fixtures? Or does anyone have one they’d like to sell or dispose of? We’d hate to be that house with an extension cord coming out of our window! PLEASE!!! I received two answers – but if anyone can help me locate a fixture I’d appreciate it. Believe me, I tried EVERY home improvement store in Chicago. They all say they “don’t make ‘em any more!” Someone must, to accomodate all the older houses!

How do I mount a pot rack to drywall?

I live in an apartment building and am trying to put up a wall mounted pot rack in the drywall. I used a stud finder to locate the studs (16″ apart). Then I drilled some pilot holes and used #12 2 1/2″ wood screws to mount the pot rack. Two of the screws broke off when I was screwing them in – one using a power drill, one by hand. Am I overlooking something or doing it wrong? I’ve got very little experience with home improvement projects. Thanks!

Really Bad Smell?

Okay. Last year, around this time we had this horrible smell in our bathroom. At first we thought it was just that our septic tank was getting full so we had it pumped. That didn’t help. So my father replaced a seal around the toilet. That didn’t help either. He eventually ended up replacing the entire toilet. The smell stayed and gradually went away towards the end of March. We forgot about it, until it returned last week. It smells horrible and exactly like it did last year. It’s kind of hard to determine where it is coming from bt it seems like this certain part of the wall. Before last fall, we had the back of our house sided and we figured that the smell was coming from a dead animal that had been sided into the wall. However, it was gone all summer and then recently returned. We live in a log cabin so it’s going to be a real difficult to take out the wall. Is there any way for us to pinpoint the source of the smell, a suggestion as to what is might be and how to get rid of it?
The bathroom is right off our kitchen, which is where everyone walks into the house. The smell is pretty embarassing and we have visitors alot. Shutting the door just makes it about a million times worse when you actually do have to go into the room and it’s too cold to leave the window open. Candles help a little but not much.
Lol and about the siding of a log cabin…. The part we got sided got alot of weather and caused the wall to rot a little. It’s not towards the road or anything so no one sees and my mom didn’t want my father up on a ladder trying to get out the bad logs.

Any opinions on David’s Home Improvements in Battle Creek, MI?

I want to have my kitchen remodeled. I need a wall taken out to enlarge it but I don’t know much about this company.

I have a 47″ shower, the stores have 48″?

Is there such a thing as having a 47″ shower as opposed to having the standard 48″ sold at the store? I measure the width of my wall, and it is clearly 47″, but the showers at the home improvement stores are 48″. Do I have a non-standard sized shower and have to special order?
I’m looking and 3 piece wall shower sets. The base still needs to be special ordered at 47″ though, right? I wouldn’t think you can fudge the base by an inch.
