My brother and I inherited a house on 1 acre of property in Ohio. My uncle has just listed for sale the adjacent 25 acres. Should we bundle our property to his or try to sell independently? My uncle can be stubborn and may prove to be an obstacle to selling, as he awaits a “worthwhile” offer. However, if we sell on our own, we may lose out on a developer’s offer. And at what point in the process can we legally set how proceeds will be divided between me and my brother, and/ or my uncle?

and write a short article as an abolitionist condemning the sale of slaves. I’ve already read the chapter. I just don’t know how to start. Any ideas?

Pls help… Uncle was trustee and executor of my father’s estate. He swindled 10k from the estate, he also had debts with my dad prior to his death & gave dad a land title for collateral, debt never paid till dad’s demise. Took him to court and court ruled in our favor. He had to pay the amount plus interests inclusive of legal fees incurred. Sale of land was permitted by the court. Uncle died. Sale of land unsuccessful.
Late 2007 family of deceased declared they found a buyer for said land, needed name tranfered to deceased son. The son signed an Statutory Declaration to undertake his father’s debts & that sale will be made through my lawyer. 2008 land was sold behind my our backs, I received only 10k less 9,300. My lawyer says her services is pro-bono on both sides, she just wants to close the case!!. Tells me to look for another lawyer to recover the 9,300. Isn’t it negligence on her part that the land was sold and money not recovered? Isn’t she obligated to see this through?
The lawyer is only obligated to perform services you specifically contracted and paid her for. She is allowed to refuse to perform additional services if she no longer feels like dealing with your case.
whitefangz1 – Well, I contracted her to recover the swindled amount plus debts the uncle incurred. This is only partially recovered. I was told that she should have caveated the land so the deceased son could not proceed with sale without my knowledge – she did not caveat it.

Ok, well heres the thing I have a large land in mex and my uncle’s all tell me to buy a good 15 to 20 cows and to leave em on the land to eat.
-They want me to pay em a certain amount of money(its not that much) for them to take care of them and look after them for me.
-They say (recommend) to buy em like in May when there really skinny (sold in weight) and then sale em like in september or october when they get fat.(raining season)
-They say the expensive part is to find a place for them to eat and stuff [usuaslly expensive when u have to rent land]t i own it so thats a plus.
-They say the cows will grow usually double in size in 5 months so that means what ever i paid for them ill get double.
-OK. u see theres a problem sometimes i know cows can be a hassle sometimes they die and get sick and blah blah all that cause problems.
_so what do u reccomend or any advice or tips as a cow owner what do u do or reccomend I should do, please give out helpful ideas ? THANKS ALOT
Watch somebody say, “If you don’t like America, leave!” And I’ll say, “Only if you go with me & pay my way!” Seriously, to live in the state you are in, you pay state taxes. They let their big boss know you’re ok. The bigger boss then makes you pay to live in this country via Federal Income tax.You buy anything to eat (in or out dining, at home, etc.) you pay sales tax, also for anything else you buy. You have to pay the small government agencies for a variety of things, i.e. license to get married, DMV fees, gas to drive, cigs to smoke, beer & liquor (which will kill you, you are in a sense paying the government to allow you to kill yourself over a period of time. You want to protect our country, you go to war and hope to hell you don’t get killed as it would be a losing battle. America & other nations have enough nuclear weapons to destroy the world over many times knocking the earth off its axix. There’s so many more things. Can you think of any other things ?
And, how about Uncle Sam giving NASA millions of dollars to explore the galaxy, universe, traveling to other planets (which will never happen in our lifetime), to the moon so many times (why didn’t they take care of al business in 2 trips), the space station, waste of money. NASA, the last time I read anything on them said that’s their mission, NOT to help earth and its many problems to improve it.
America may be the most powerful nation in the world as we’ve seen so far, BUT, at home, we are weak. Crime, hunger, homeless people, you name it! All the money spent on every war we’ve ever had and/or been involved in, would have been enough to eliminate crime, hunger, homeless people, etc. from the face of this great nation. Only thing is, our government doesn’t know how to go about eliminating it. There’s one real battle our government would lose badly..if an alien invasion from space attacked us, we would lose. ALSO, Clinton signed a Public Document #___ (I don’t know the number) which states, if America had a real serious emergency, the power of the USA would be turned over to the United Nations to run.
