Plaintiff’s Options after being awarded a civil suit?

I won a civil suit for $4000 against a contractor who did not perform the work agreed upon. Well now hes not paying either. I do have a sheriffs sales scheduled against him, but Im afraid this just isnt enough to recover my money. Does anyone know if any other options I might have in getting my money back? Im in Pennsylvania.

I find it hard to believe had the situation been reversed, and I didnt pay the contractor, that he could put a lien on my home or even have my wages garnished. As a consumer I dont believe we have this option!

you sold your home,in escrow, someone that is suing you and wants to take away your assets can you protect $$?

there is a suit just filed in the last couple of months since the house went up for sale, sold for $950,000.00, Grandparents house.Can they in turn give me the money to buy a house in my name so no one can take the new home they need to buy?

Does anyone know a free lawyer to help with a property issue in Ga.I had my home demolished and sold for taxes

I am a disabled adult and now reside in SC. In 2001, in Ga. a local city govt. demolished my home and what wasn’t stolen by the contractors the city hired to demolish the property, the rest of all my belongings were turned into rubble. In 2002, city hall sold the property to pay for the demolition, without notifying me, and after I found out about the sale, the City refused to communicate with me about the terms of the sale, where the money was spent and any overages. In the dark, I filed a pro se suit last year. It is coming up in court soon and I need help in that I have social anxiety disorder and although I filed this suit prose, I know nothing about the law, and am being bulldozed again–this time by the high priced lawyers the city has hired, to assure themselves that they keep all overages from the tax sale. So help, if you know of anyone that can assist me please let me know ASAP.

I can’t find a job with a college degree anyone having the same problem?

I am graduating with a finance degree and have a 3.5 GPA…..and I still can’t find a job!! I have interviewed with quite a few companies and nothing!!! I dress really nice with a suit and tie, and not that it should matter but I am goodlooking, have had work experience, good grades at a pretigious business school And yet still can’t land a job unless its a lame financial sales position. Anyone know what I am doing wrong? Am I doing something that is turning employers away? I dont know what to do, I am frustrated and am begining to think I worked my ass off the last four years for nothing….college is overrated.
