Any experience with Dufour sailboats?

I was curious if anyone has had any experience either on or with Dufour sailboats? In the recent issue of Latitudes and Attitudes, there is an article about a 1974 Dufour, 35′ long, that is sailed as a bluewater cruiser with great success. When looking at Dufour sailboats online that are for sale, the price is definately less than other bluewater cruisers in the same category, although there doesn’t seem to be as much fancy woodwork inside the cabin. As long as the boat is still bluewater worthy, it’s not a bad option if one doesn’t need anything fancy. Just wanted to know if anyone has an opinion on this manufacture. Thanks in advance.

I own a service business, we clean and seal wood decks, and concrete. Any suggestions on advertising?

We have had success with direct mail, valpaks, and radio. poor results from local newspaper, and TV. Just looking for some ideas (fresh ideas) that have worked for other service type–home improvement — businesses. Rochester MN (not a metro area, 250,000 residents in 30 mile radius…

Seeking interviewing tips or advice.?

I used to be an Executive Recruiter for the IT industry until the industry tanked in 2001. After that I had sales support positions until 2004, when I had surgery and went to temping for personal reasons. I have been temping since 2004. I have been trying to get back into the recruiting field with little success, and have finally landed an interview with a staffing firm. It has been so long since i interviewed for a perm. job I feel rusty. Any advice/tips on what questions to expect or how to best present myself as the right candidate would be appreciated. The position I am applying for is an entry level position, recruiting for office personnel. I do realize 6 years is too long of a stretch to expect to get back into an Exec. or senior position immediately. Thanks.

Jobs in Sugar Land, Texas??

I have been looking for a job in Sugar Land, Texas over the internet with no success. It seems like the only person that can get a job there are technicians, engineers, sales reps and professionals, and medical personnel. I was an Infantry Squad leader about a month ago. Now I’m out of the Army and looking for something exciting but less dangerous.

Has anyone had success listing a new home for sale on internet websites?

Our company has recently made the move from contract work to new home construction and in summer 2005 constructed 2 homes in a small development. We have tried to sell them on our own, but the price was a little high compared to the other lots because of extras like granite countertops, travertine tile, etc., and we still have them on our hands, growing more expensive with every month’s interest payment. Have you all had any success with other forms of advertising/selling? If so, please divulge…I am very open to suggestions. Thanks!
