Where do I sign up for a TV show to help with a bad home improvement project. Help?

I have a home repair project that my ex husband started & then left town. Now Im stuck with a house thats half complete and no money to finish the work. I’ve hired 2 contractors who took my money and skipped out. I have some supplies that they did have delivered but no way of completing the job. Now Im broke and about to loose my house and car but can’t have my house refinanced because an appraisor wont even look at it in the shape its in. I need help and have nowhere to turn. If you know any way to sign up for one of these programs, please let me know. Im at my wits end. Thanks so much

Doe realtors ever pay repair or other costs to close a deal?

My house is close to settlement. The appraisal came through 2K short of the buyer mortage but 3K above the actual sale price. It was planned that I would return 5K to the buyers. Now I STRONGLY believe it to be fair to only return 3K to the buyer since the house appraised for more than the actual sale price. The buyers demanded that I split the difference and provide 4K to them. Since I lose 1K from the orginal deal I agreed only to do repairs that were required by the town I live in, leaving out some repairs that were requested from the home inspector. All repairs are minor including some minor electrical, roof(actually a shingle), gutter, and AC repair. The total would most likely be below 1K.

If the buyers do not agree to me not making all the repairs is it ok to then presure my agent who stands to me 4% off the deal to take care of some repairs.
Or simply put do realtors ever provide money or repairs to close deals?
Sleek my realtor is receving 4%(great deal for him) and the buyers agent(Foxtons) 2%.

How do I evaluate a motorcycle repair school? Are they all Private and “for profit”?

My son wants to become a Motorcycle mechanic, and I am willing to pay for the best shool possible. Yahoo and Google searches don’t turn up much. One in Arizona/Florida and one in Pennsylvania and a couple of Home study courses. No community colleges or public trade schools that I could identify.

What questions do I need to ask of these shools? What do i need to look out for? Is home study a viable alternative when it comes to finding a job? I just don’t want to be snookered by a flashy sales presentation, I want to make sure we find a school with real “meat” to it.
