We have a problem…we fell in love with a house for sale by a private owner. What is the process when not using a realtor?Pros and Cons?Anything we should be cautious about?Where to increase our knowledge base for a safety net? Thanks.

ive worked retail sales for a few years and I decided I want to make at least 50,000 dollars a year so I landed an interview with a mortgage and realestate loan company. the only angle i can think of is to convince them that im the young, hungry, ambitous type, then maybe they will take a chance on me.. Their company offers free training so if i make it that far, im good, but i need some good advice for the interview.. im only 20 years old..
any ideas?

After 5 years of being a low-level corporate drone (though making a decent salary), I decided I was ready for a change. My husband and I bought a house in a new state and both got part-time jobs, while working on our real estate licenses. Just recently, my husband accepted an outside sales job that will give him the stability of a full-time job, but the flexibility of a part-time job. I haven’t been so lucky. Today I was offered a chance at a full-time job. I’m confused about whether or not to accept it. I have another 3 months before I have to start chipping away at my nest egg & the real estate exam is in August. I’d like to keep working part-time until I take the exam, but what if I don’t pass it? Plus there is still the matter of actually finding a job with a broker and even then, sales are not guaranteed. Jobs in my field are limited out here so I’m afraid to pass up the opportunity. However, when I left my last job, I swore to never return to the rat race. What would you do?
