If you have signed with a real estate agent and then find the home on your own do you have to pay the agent?

If you find a home for sale by owner and do all the leg work by yourself including looking at the home are you contractually obligated to use the realtor? For instance, if you find it, look at it, and decide to make an offer, do you have to let the agent do it even though they have not been involved in the process at all?

CAN A PERSON BE CHARGE FOR A FALSE SIGNATURE ON A MORTAGAGE WHEN SIGNING AS WIFE-WHEN ITS NOT SO IN TX?

When applying for a mortgage at a young age as a soldier my girl wwas tranferred to my installation so we plan to move in together when the financing came around my real estate agent asked the question were we married and we stated no and the agent ask will you get married some day and we said probably so. So the agent advised us to sign as a couple which I now know was bad advise. Because the relation didn’t work after 18 months. and now my ex girl is sueing for half interest in the house after 25 years of no payment on the mortgage or upkeep of the property–I plan to represent myself in court due to the lack of fund to hire a lawyer. I do not see her as co-owner. She left the house in 79 and expressed no interest in the house an d took all household goods. I beleive she’ve been compensated for the limit $ invested at closing. She is filing co owner. Any advise.

In NC,can loan officer turn down loan B/c he does not like realestate agent representing person/entity appling

My boyfriend is a realestate agent. His sister is a doctor and wants to purchase some land that will give him a commision of approx. 40K. His sister does not want him to have it b/c, she does not want anyone else in the family to have money but her. So she told him that she could not use him in the closing and he would not be able to get the commision because the loan officer will not give her the loan if she uses him as the real estate agent. He has recommended a friend of his(loan officer) that she should use.From the origination of this sale, my boyfriend has handled all paper work, faxing, calling,setting up meeting, appraising, etc (fall 2005), now she is saying this. The closing date is scheduled for Apr.2006 We dont believe her. We live in Raleigh, NC. Please help us.
