can someone tech me how to solve this problem for an accounting class?

If a parcel of land that was originally purchased for $8,500 is offerred for sale at $150,000. is assessed for tax purpose at $95,000, is recognized by its purchasers as easily being worth $140,000, and is purchased for $137,000, the land should be recorded in the purchaser’s book at?

In the year,1970, an agreement of sale is made between M.A.Quddus {my father} { purchaser}, and Kamala devi{ seller},
kamala devi sold land to an extent of 4acres out of 100 acres, which belonging to her through ancestal property.
M.A.Quddus cleared full payment of purchase land, and seeeked request for registration, but kamala devi ignored to act . In this sense, M.A. QUDDUS Filed petition against her in the saroornagar court , He got decree orders on the above suit 4acres land to have possession
with clear rights in the year 1987. HE started work on this suit 4 acres land, took N.O.C permission from COMMISSIONER OF MALKAJGIRI MUNICIPALITY, regarding to start factory in the name of M/S NEW DECCAN MOULDING AND STEEL WORKS, SITUATED AT HNO:44-123/1/A , SYNO:617/1/A, RDNO:4, MOULALI RD, BEHIND TEL. Can there be a reservation of land acquisition, by the builders / promoters for construction, be brought in?

I mean that can the builders and promoters be brought in the net of reservation, of land for distribution/sale to them for construction purposes/projects so that a builder is allotted a land in the nearby rural areas of a district which the govt. wants to develop. Is this practically implementable, so that there won’t be concentration of development of infrastructure only in cities/urban areas? I mean to say that their should be a control on the land being purchased by the purchaser for various construction projects i.e. on allottment of various options to a specific builder on the basis of the existing projects completed and carried out by him. This will help in development of the areas which can be developed and where other infrastructure is also available.

what rights as a seller do you have when title of a mobile home is never transfered into the buyers name?

I sold a mobile home to an individual who never transfered title into his name. The individual has since abandoned the mobile home and is now residing in another city. Now the city treasurer and landlord on which the mobile home sits is harassing me for back monies as the title is still in my name. I do have a signed contract of sale by both parties and am wondering what rights I have as the seller in this situation. I am not looking for any monies from the purchaser, nor do I want to regain posession of the mobile home. I just want to be left alone in this matter as I do no longer own the property, and I do not feel I should be responsible for back taxes or back rent on the lot on which the mobile home sits.
