Build you’re own firearm?

I’ve seen these books for sale like “how to build a muzzleloading firearm” or “home constructed flintlock”.Is it legal to actually make these things.I’m a DIYer,gun enthusiast,and I like to make my own stuff,so this would be a super project.I just wanna know whether it’s gonna land me in a shitload of trouble.
Don’t answer unless you REALLY know the details.I can see dozens of people just sybmit crap “NOOOOOOO DON”T DO IT,THATS ILLEGAL,I DIDN’T EVEN CHECK THE LAWS OR HAVE ANY KNOWLEDGE OF THIS SUBJECT BUT GUNS ARE BAAAD!”

How would I find out the estimate/breakdown costs of a home improvement project?

like building a media room or inground pool?
How do you find out what labor would cost? # of workers and wages? Blueprints etc…
The materials and what they would cost .
I don’t want to call in a construction firm for the project right now.

Can anyboy help..any good sites or personal expertise?

How can I get my husband to get off of the couch and finish a home improvement project started a few weeks ago

He laid a new floor in the spare bathroom. All that’s left is for him to install the shoe moulding so I can put the room back together.
He works in flooring all day long and when he gets home he heads straight for the sofa. How can I entice him to finish the job at home?

I have 3 wooden bi-fold doors leftover from a home improvement project. Where can I donate them? Any ideas would be helpful. I’m in Chicago, IL.
I called the Salvation Army and they don’t take anything that needs installation.

Home Improvement Project?

My house has wood paneling in the basement (think 80′s) and I was wondering if anyone knew any good ideas to improve the appearance. I’m not really thrilled about painting it but thought about maybe putting different wood over it that would have a nicer appearance. Like I said, anyone have any other ideas?
Slim and Ecurb, do you have any idea how much costs are compared to sheet rock or just putting up wood over the paneling? Thanks for the advice; I will probably go with one of these ways with the project. I might take the paneling out to reseal the foundation just to give an extra coat of protection from water leaking in. Thanks again
