Cabin building process
Building the half dovetail log cabin before moving to Bloomington and then back. We have a smaller cabin we let the kids build during our building workshops. We will be in Kentucky doing log cabin building workshops at the Thomas Lincoln, Nancy Hanks historical site on June 14th 2008.

Has anyone bought a HUD house, need advice?
I would like to know if anyone has bought a HUD foreclosure home? What is involved in the process and is it hard getting banks to finance the purchase? Also, has anyone ever bought a foreclosure from the court house(sheriffs sale)? How would I get financing for that when you have to bid on the property? Im new at all this and my first purchase will be for myself to live in. Any info is greatly appreciated.

How do you determine if slime bacteria is originating in your well or in your home pipes?
I had an existing well with a log cabin and never had a problem. I built a new house (used the same well during this process with an outbuilding and also never had a problem), but after moving in to the new house we get the rotten-egg smell in our water.

Can I legally have my name removed from my mortgage that I share with my husband.?
We are in the process of an amicable divorce-he really wants to keep the house-I have no problem with it, I just don’t want to be legally resposible for the debt if he keeps it.
