It is a pretty new house (2 years old) which I ended up with in a divorce settlement. There are also a record number of homes for sale in Lincoln right now.

Looking for a house for sale with the id number?
Asking again….. we have MLS number. We can’t get further information about vacant land. We asked about getting approximate address/location to look it up on arial map so we can see what is on it. She beats around the bush, won’t give us definate details. And says that she thinks it’s ‘pending’. We asked about another vacant piece of land that’s listed and she tells us she’s got to look into it, but we can check her website. Which is where we got the listing to begin with! We talked to friend’s mom who is a realtor about it. So she called to say she’s got someone interested in it and would like further info….. still nothing. I’m thinking this isn’t appropriate. Even if there is someone else interested, we should still be able to get info on it if the land is still listed for sale right? That’s how it was when we were house hunting. We could get info on it, and we’d be told about a contract pending, or someone has placed a bid, or whatever……..
We are NOT using her. We saw the listing, called her because she is the one who listed the property. Had the other realtor call her to try to get the info. she wouldn’t tell us. And she wouldn’t tell the other realtor either.

I rent my home, it is a side-by-side duplex. When I moved in a year ago, my landlord claimed she’d fix a number of things, including one big thing that is illegal to not fix (putting railings on our basement steps). She has not done anything about any of the improvements promised. My cousin (a lawyer) came over to visit one day and found several other things she needs to fix. We’ve had a fine relationship with the landlord in the last year and we don’t want to rock the boat, but we think it’s wrong for her to have forgotten for a year to fix these things. A few months ago, she called us to say that someone came to inspect the outside of the house (an insurance person? a city person? i don’t know) and that they ordered her to put a safety railing on the outside steps and that if someone was looming around measuring, etc, not to freak out. We’ve seen nothing happen from this either.
I want someone to come inspect the home and tell her what she is ordered to fix. Who would I contact?
