Do you know of land in Brunswick,Topsham,Bath or Woolwich,MAINE for sale for $10,000???

We have a baby due in November and want to have a start to our someday Home.We do not have $10,000 but would get a loan for that amount if a good deal came our way. There are so many people out there that have land and just pay taxes on it.They forget they even have it with the exception of tax time.We could really use a good piece of land.We are not afraid of doing some work to the land to make it work out for us.So even a not so nice piece of land would work as long as it is buildable. We would love to have it big enough to have a small yard so are soon to be baby can have space to play, also for my wife to have places to plant flowers and for me to have a small garden. But as long as we could put a home on the land-That would be good enough.A buildable lot would be great-doesn’t have to be an acre or more.If you can help please let us know.Thank you for your time.I asked this question before and I got some negative answers-Please don’t respond if it isn’t nice. A good deal is out there

do i have the right to not pay my landlord due to neglect?

In November of 2005 the tenant who lives next to me in a duplex in Lilbourn, Mo. damaged my front door while trying to keep me in my apartment while he beat his girlfriend. I showed the door to two officers I had called to the scene. They saw and still remember the damage. I notified my landlord, he said he would send someone the next morning. It has never even been evaluated. I have overlooked many things. I am not financially able to pay to repair the damage. The damage has become worse and now I can no longer shut the door. It is now taking the door, frame, doorway and walls around it off the building. I make only enough money to pay my bills and feed and clothe my family. Do I have the right to not pay my rent for 30 days so I can take the money and get an apartment that is available and is more suitable. What are my rights?

Can a grocery store like Winn-Dixie be sued for selling cookies that expired on November 2005?

I bought these chocolate chip cookies over there, they were on a shopping cart with other cookies and they were on sale for 1 dollar. I never even check the expiration dates but when I got home and one cookie I noticed it taste like poop so I checked to see if it was Dog Treats or something. But it had actually expired a hell of long time ago. Do you think its wrong for them to sell something sooooooo expired? I mean, doesn’t the health inspector ever show up? Have you had htis experiebnce before and what did you do?
