I have been married for 13 years now, 3 kids, and for 6 months now, I have been trying to get a new job. Well, I got a job offer, put in my two week notice, and accepted the new job in a different state. I leave in two weeks, and have put my home up for sale but has not sold yet too, so my wife and kids will stay until we sell the house, or so I thought, she now says she is not going, she says she doesn’t want to be that far away from her parents and family. Man!!! what do I do? I don’t want this job, I’m ready to move, and the kids want to move too. What do I do?
We did talk about this for the last 6 months, and she said yes to the move.

I was employed by a major company in Georgia in their sales division (before today). I was on vacation for a week due to my family was having some problems. I came back, I gave a two weeks notice and said that i was moving back home which was in another state. I had taken the rest of the week off and on the day that I gave the notice, I went home to check my work email and noticed the password and user ID were not working. on Friday I had to attend a baby shower at the corporate office for a friend and everyone was saying “I thought you were going to another company” and I told them all no and that I had just put in my notice. I went to work today and could not get on the computer to log in or clock in, i went to talk to the asst. location manager and he said that individuals in the sales divisions are not allowed to work trought their 2 weel or what ever notice they had given and i did not see that in the policy hand book. Is this illegal? can i file a complaint with the DOL?

I live in the state of Iowa, I have only receive verbal notice of the sale of the home and that I have to be out. They intend to close on the 1st of August. The landlord showed the home wihtout my knowledge about 3 weeks ago and then accepted the offer and still no notification. I did not know they still had it on the market. When I signed the lease it was listed for sale or for rent. After I moved in on April 1, 2006 my landlord notified me verbally they may be moving from Iowa and would I be interested in buying the home on contract. I informed him could not afford it at this time. Please help me I am totally stressed out about this. I have no family close by to help me move again so soon and my youngest boy just had major surgery 1 week ago and can not get around hardly at all.

Where are some good web sites for good info on forclosures and places to sell a house really fast?The notice for sale has allredy been posted. Please help :-}

We have had our home up for sale with a real estate agency. We have relocated because of a job change. We unexpectingly received a notice that our homeowners insurance would be cancled. We have found it impossible to find reasonably priced liability insurance being that the house is vacant. Is there any recourse?
