House off the market with agreement?

When you’ve completed an agreement of sale with the selling realtor, are they supposed to take the house off the market for 30 days? That’s what we’ve heard, but the selling agent refuses.

Microeconomic question needs help??

Some have argued that the California real estate market is currently in a “bubble” — that is, the price of housing is higher than present levels of supply and demand would indicate. Consider two identical houses that sit side by side on a street in Palo Alto, California. One is offered for rent at $3,000 per month. The other is offered for sale at $1.2 million, which at an interest rate of 5% works out to cost $5,000 per month. Despite this discrepancy, which one of the following statements might be a valid argument AGAINST the proposition that the real estate market is in a bubble?

A. Earthquake damage is a perennial concern in California.

B. Termites are a major problem in Palo Alto, increasing the costs of home ownership.

C. Land in California is scarce, and future immigration into the state is expected.

D. Inflation is likely to remain low for the foreseeable future.

Is it a good idea to move from Chicago to Las Vegas to start a new business in mortgage?

Now I am working in a Mortgage Company in Chicago with stable salary and I own a condo and a car. Our company is expanding to Las Vegas, I’d like to know if I shall move to Las Vegas to start a new branch office over there? I will be the office manager, but my income will be commission based with totally new market. I have no idea Las Vegas’s real estate industry and mortgage market, and what will be my new career future in Las Vegas? I m a single girl. Just seperated with BF. Shall I sell my condo in Chicago before I move to Las Vegas or keep it, in case later, i can come back Chicago if the market is not good in LV. How can I keep my condo here in Chicago, rent it out, who take care of the rent and maintainence? It is a big challenge choice for me. thanks and look forward to getting your instant response.

How can I get my house to sell quickly?

Our house has been for sale for about 3 months now and we REALLY want it to sell soon so we can move back to our home state. The market here is slow… a lot of houses for sale and not many buyers. We have fixed our house all up – it’s almost completely remodeled. What can I do to make it sell quickly – any ideas????
We are using a realtor and yeah he seems really lazy. His contract is up in a month and we were thinking we’d change companies.
It is a slow market – not many buyers and way too many houses for sale in the same price range. No it is not unusual or in a bad location – and it has all new windows, walls, AC, paint, etc. We are living here so of course we have our furniture and stuff but most of it is new too so it looks nice I think.
