1 year after an eviction…?

I have the means to pay back what I owe my landlord…around $3000. I was one of two people on the lease…and my former roommate passed away since then, so I guess I am fully responsible now. My question is, I am going to be applying to rent a house/apartment in about 4 months, and I cannot have this eviction as is, what are the chances my former landlord (an apt. community) will work with me to get their money and possibly give me some good standing to work with as far as rental history? How does this work? It is not on my credit report, so I guess its up to the landlord to relay this info to my future landlords, unless they do a check for an eviction? Any help on this broad topic is greatly appreciated.

Can my landlord put the property up for sale during my lease? (Florida)?

My landlord listed the property and they have been actively showing it. I’ve been cooperating but it has been very intrusive. My lease is up on July 31st, I’ve been packing for the move and she complained that the house wasn’t showable last time. What are my rights? Can I refuse to show it?

Pet Question?

We have lived in this house for 2 years, pets were ok to have so we got an Old English Bulldog. Recently my landlord decided to let his daughter take over and be the landlord, when she saw our dog she asked to buy it. We told her it was not for sale so she decided that we have 1 week to get rid of the dog. I am heartbroken, can she do this? Help me please.

What should my landlord include in a letter of recommentadtion for my pets?

I have 2 big dogs and a cat and I think that a letter of recommendation will help me find a new apartment or house to rent. What should my landlord write, other than that the pets are well behaved, socialized and that I am a responsible owner?

Thanks for your input!!

what rights as a seller do you have when title of a mobile home is never transfered into the buyers name?

I sold a mobile home to an individual who never transfered title into his name. The individual has since abandoned the mobile home and is now residing in another city. Now the city treasurer and landlord on which the mobile home sits is harassing me for back monies as the title is still in my name. I do have a signed contract of sale by both parties and am wondering what rights I have as the seller in this situation. I am not looking for any monies from the purchaser, nor do I want to regain posession of the mobile home. I just want to be left alone in this matter as I do no longer own the property, and I do not feel I should be responsible for back taxes or back rent on the lot on which the mobile home sits.
