Im convinced, my area is definitely set to nose-dive, I am in long island & I have never seen inventories like this since 2000. Houses are not selling, for sale signs are exploding everywhere. How is it in your area?

we are veryy low income and i heard about the Certificate and i ws hoping someone can maybe tell me where to go to & get it?
or apply for it? and how long does it usually take?and does it apply to any Apartment i would like to rent or only the ~Special Ones~ on the List??

after I had a housefire awhile back and lost everything I moved to another town to start over. moved the kids in a hotel. well I finally got a job I really like but the housing situation has not improved. apt. are impossible because they charge 3 times the rent which I cant pay.houses are only for sale here. should I pack up the kids and try another town?or should I wait? this hotel thing isnt working out with 3 kids and my cats.out of options. and shelters dont work either because my oldest daughter is 18 they say she first would have to move out, which I think is crazy.
I’m looking at this housing subdivision that’s being built and a substitute rep for the area was being pushy. He told me they would only pay closing costs if I used one of their preferred lenders. This was an outright lie.
How do you deal with reps after they’ve undermined their own credibility? Do I call them on the carpet or be polite and go around them to deal with other people?
