Is it a good idea to move from Chicago to Las Vegas to start a new business in mortgage?

Now I am working in a Mortgage Company in Chicago with stable salary and I own a condo and a car. Our company is expanding to Las Vegas, I’d like to know if I shall move to Las Vegas to start a new branch office over there? I will be the office manager, but my income will be commission based with totally new market. I have no idea Las Vegas’s real estate industry and mortgage market, and what will be my new career future in Las Vegas? I m a single girl. Just seperated with BF. Shall I sell my condo in Chicago before I move to Las Vegas or keep it, in case later, i can come back Chicago if the market is not good in LV. How can I keep my condo here in Chicago, rent it out, who take care of the rent and maintainence? It is a big challenge choice for me. thanks and look forward to getting your instant response.

Where can you get a mortgage from with bad credit?

I’m looking for a 6 bedrrom home in the Phialdelphia or surrounding areas. I am caring for my parents and I have three children of my own. I am currently receiving SSD, having been hurt in a car accident. Also both my parents also have income but due to illness and age are unable to work anymore.

Is buying a home versus renting a home better? Because I think I found a house. New homes here start at 140k.?

I am renting a home for $350 a month. (I live in a small town…that’s the going rate.) It has two bedrooms, etc. and a two car carport. Its nice. But I love this house near by. It is for 64,900. That’s average for homes around here that are more than 20 years old. This home is three bedrooms. They all have small closets. The basement is nice but one has to duck there head as they are going down the steps. There is a two car attached garage. The house has beautiful carpeting, wallpaper, and cabinetry. The owner is eager to sell so I could probably get it for 60,000. Maybe even less than that. Its been on the market for a long time because of no adequate dining area (only a bistro style table would fit in kitchen), small rooms and closets (the basement has lots of closets and shelves, though), and floral wall paper (too feminine for men). Everything else either costs too much or I would need alot of money for improvements and upgrades. This is turn key. And well maintained. Advice?

i’m avoiding my office. i dislike my surrounding and i am self employed…?

i am a sales agent and have been for 9 years. there is a new guy in my office that is REALLY YOUNG, rude, loud, obnoxious… he USE to be a used car salesman. he wears a WOOL trench coat when it’s 80 degrees… i dislike him SO MUCH that i can’t stand to be in the same room with him BUT, every sales agent is packed in one room. i can work from home and have for over a month now. here’s the problem. my boss sent me an e-mail to “remind” me about our office meeting at 1pm today. I CAN’T BE in the same room with this awful person for 1 hour! HAS ANYONE OUT THERE worked with someone like this (of course)? HOW DID YOU HANDLE IT? (i don’t need the job… but i don’t want to let down my current clients).

For “average” people with several children…?

I’m curious. You and your husband/boyfriend both work full time, have average paying jobs (by no means well off or even comfortable, but you don’t go without, either), standard bills (rent/mortgage, utilities, car payment, insurance, etc.) How do you support three or more children? My husband and I have two sons and we’ve pretty much decided we’re finished…for now. We’ve said when our older son is in kindergarten, we *might* consider trying for a third (we both like large families) but honestly…how do people afford it?? We both have average paying jobs (he works retail at a large lumber/home improvement chain and I’m a legal secretary). What do you guys do to avoid getting on welfare? Or do you?

I realize this probably sounds like a really strange question, but I read on here where people have three or four kids and I wonder…what is your secret for not being in the poorhouse? LOL :)
