My wife and I want to help our daughter and her husband buy a home. They currently have poor credit and even with us providing the downpayment, they could not get a mortgage themselves. We thought we’d buy the house and let them gradually buy it from us. How can we set this up? Lease w/ option to buy? What about improvements they make to the property?

I mean where the US dolar has the best buy rate. Buy cheap farmland (and maybe a loan from their local governement), hire some of the locals-and own an operating farm for profit.

I recently posted a question about purchasing a 2003 Chevy Malibu and got mixed answers. I know someone that has a 1993 Land Cruiser for sale and it has 180K miles on it. I don’t really know them that well so I don’t know how well it has been maintained over the years. My question is – which in your opinion is the better buy. I have done my research and have read that the Land Cruiser will last like forever it seems. Serious answers only please!!! I am making a decision tomorrow.
