Paul Harvey and the Rest of the Story
I live in an apartment building and am trying to put up a wall mounted pot rack in the drywall. I used a stud finder to locate the studs (16″ apart). Then I drilled some pilot holes and used #12 2 1/2″ wood screws to mount the pot rack. Two of the screws broke off when I was screwing them in – one using a power drill, one by hand. Am I overlooking something or doing it wrong? I’ve got very little experience with home improvement projects. Thanks!

Building the half dovetail log cabin before moving to Bloomington and then back. We have a smaller cabin we let the kids build during our building workshops. We will be in Kentucky doing log cabin building workshops at the Thomas Lincoln, Nancy Hanks historical site on June 14th 2008.

Last year my wife Debbie and I cleared our lot at Lake Manitoba Narrows. This past spring we started building our cabin. With a bit of help from a good friend and a few of our neighbors lifting the heavier components we managed to put up the main structure and get it closed in before winter set in.
