Won’t the Mid-West floods help the auto industry a bit?

With all the millions of land vehicles that are damaged by flood waters, many of them can not be repaired and will be given salvage titles. Won’t this result in a sudden jump in new car sales? Also all the new cars that are flooded at the dealership parking lots will be paid for by the insurance money.

Not to mention the amount of work made possible to private contractors and Home Depot in order to fix the flood damaged buildings.

But would you agree that these floods help the auto industry make new sales?

Are there ANY US insuance companies that can consolidate residential policies across state lines?

I have 3 properties in 3 different states. I have 3 agencies, 3 agents, 3 bills, and 3 commissions. I am looking to simplify and get a reduction of cost by booking all of my needs for home/ auto/ liability with one company, but all online applications seem to route to independent agents for sales leads. I NEED HELP! : )

Need a catchy slogan!?

Me and a friend are in the process of opening up a used auto sales business. Everything is complete and just waiting for the license to show up in the mail. However, I decided it would be nice to have a catchy slogan but cannot come up with anything. I figured with as many people we have out here in cyber land someone was bound to come up with something good. We will consider any and all responses. *Few things to note about the cars we will be selling. 500.00-5000.00 range on pricing. Trying to keep affordable cars for the average person. We also have interest in just about everything so we are thinking of telling people that we will accept just about anything for trade as long as we do not have to feed it…lol We both have full time jobs so it is not just for the money but as a hobby as well. Thoughts? Suggestions?

Do I have to have a auto dealers license or a junk dealers license?

I buy and sell junk cars. Am I supposed to get a dealers license from the DMV after I sell a certain amount of junk cars? Is there a way around getting a dealers licensing, i.e. just using bills of sale? Is it possible to get a dealers license and use your home as physical address?

I did get the city to go for my business which would be considered a junk dealer/transportation business with NO storage allowed, but will the dmv go for that?

Bottomline, how can I sell all the junks that I pick up in the most legal way possible with the situation of not having a storage facility but still making it work?
