My landlord decided to change our lease, and now we have 2 weeks time to find a new apartment for pay the huge rent increase due to not being able to share rooms anymore. Any advice on finding an apartment and moving super quick?
He agreed to paint my house for rent and smoke outside. He also got a dog when I said no. I have a child with asthma so I told him he could smoke outside only because the heat and air are common to my house and the apartment.

I’m thinking of moving from Cleveland, Ohio to Raleigh to gain a teaching job. I’m hoping to get a decent apartment or preferably a condo for under $650 a month. Is that possible? I won’t be making a great amount of money, and I don’t want to spend too much on rent.
Thanks in advance!

Ok, so there was a big storm with hail and all that great stuff on a Thursday night, well it knocked out all my windows and water and ice and glass were everywhere, well Friday it was supposed to rain again, and my apt. complex did nothing to my windows to protect my apt. from getting ruined again, so I had to put up plastic myself. So Finally on Saturday, they put plywood over my windows and here we are Tuesday and still no windows. I cant stay at my apt. because it stinks, its hot without any air on, and its just gross. I want to have my rent pro-rated but I wouldnt know under what conditions do I have the right to demand that, I think they did a very poor job in handling this situation, and I dont know where to begin in looking for a law or regulation that would allow me to have my rent lowered, any ideas?

I have a friend who owned a home three years ago but sold it because she went into foreclosure. Before she went into foreclosure she filed for bankruptcy protection. After selling the home, she paid off the bankruptcy and rented an apartment. She is now in sales making a lot of money. She has enough money to put 20% down on a 600,000 home. Will she have a problem getting a loan?
