Help getting good job in social work…?

I have a bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management and 6 years of mgt experience. I also spent 1.5 years doing sales and have several finance certificates.
I believe I am being called to do social work, and eventually want to get a MSW. How can I use my current degree and experience to land a decent starting job? Thanks in advance for the HELP!

Seeking interviewing tips or advice.?

I used to be an Executive Recruiter for the IT industry until the industry tanked in 2001. After that I had sales support positions until 2004, when I had surgery and went to temping for personal reasons. I have been temping since 2004. I have been trying to get back into the recruiting field with little success, and have finally landed an interview with a staffing firm. It has been so long since i interviewed for a perm. job I feel rusty. Any advice/tips on what questions to expect or how to best present myself as the right candidate would be appreciated. The position I am applying for is an entry level position, recruiting for office personnel. I do realize 6 years is too long of a stretch to expect to get back into an Exec. or senior position immediately. Thanks.

California or Nevada Laws re: buying a home with the money you get from selling your current home?

Hello! My family recently put our house in california for sale. As you all know, the houses in Cali are super expensive. My parents are planning to sell this house for 500K and buy one in Nevada for around 280K. Are there any laws in either states that will interefere with us just buying a house “cash” in Nevada? We have lived in this house for more than 6 years everyone in the household works but it’s getting harder and harder to make the monthly payments for it. Advice please!

What should I do to file a lien on a property in cook county , IL ?

I had loaned a family friend some money 6 years ago ($29,000 )to buy equipment for her husband as he started a business. I loaned the money directly to her while they were married and not to her husband’s business or to her husband. Now they are going through a bitter divorce . I realized I may not get my money back. I reminded her about the loan and she said her husband has no intentions of paying back the loan , even though it was for his business. When she asked him he said that he will not be held liable since he did not get the loan directly from me. So she has asked me to put a lien on the house that she owns. She has four kids and I do not want her to pay from her share of the home’s sale. What kind of lien should I file so that the loan gets paid before the money is split and they are paid their share from the sale. We both live in cook county.

My landlord sold the house we are living in since May 1999 and has giving us 30 days to vacate the house?

THE LANDLORD POSTED A FOR SALE SING A FEW MONTHS AGO, WITHOUT LETTING US KNOW THAT HE WAS GOING TO SELL THE HOUSE THEN IN A FEW DAYS PEOPLE STARTED TO SHOW UP, AT FIRST THE LAND LORD GOT MAD BECAUSE WE DIDN’T WANTED TO LET HIM IN TO SHOW THE HOUSE AROUND,HE SAID IT WAS HIS PROPERTY AND THAT HE COULD GET IN THE HOUSE WHEN EVER HE PLEASED. I GUESS THAT THE REALSTATE AGENT TOLD HIM THAT HE COULDN’T DO THAT SO HE STARTED TO LEAVE NOTES ON THE DOOR SAYING THAT HE WAS GOING TO SHOW THE PROPERTY ONE DAY BEFORE, SO I GUESS THAT WAS OK. RIGHT? SO TODAY AUGUST 14 2006 HE TELLS US HE HAS SOLD THE HOUSE AND THAT THE NEW OWNER WANTED THE HOUSE DISOCUPPIED BY SEPTEMBER 14 2006. SO IS THIS RIGHT? I KNOW WE PAID FIRST AND LAST MONTH AHEAD. IS THIS ALL WE GET 30 DAYS AFTER 6 YEARS. WILL IT MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE WETHER IT IS A LEASE OR A RENT AGREEMENT. PLEASE HELP…
