your lease should be good until sold then you can make a deal with new owner and get a refund from first owner if not take them to small claimes court

Take a look at your lease agreement, it should outline your rights and responsibilities. If you are not sure of the provisions, take your lease agreement to an attorney. There are so many variables that speculation on specifics would be pointless. A competent attorney can advise you of your rights under the provision of your lease and advise you on legal courses of action. Even if you don’t have a written lease agreement you probably still have certain rights under state laws regarding leased property.
