Probably not Federal, but State or local ordinances may be in danger of being violated. Check with the local Chamber of Commerce for guidance. Good luck!

Contact the FAA to be sure, but I believe it is not legal for him to land his copter where you have said he wants to.

There are no FEDERAL restrictions, there could be local (city, county, state) restrictions tho’.

Judy, the only federal regs that would apply are
§ 91.13 Careless or reckless operation.
(a) Aircraft operations for the purpose of air navigation. No person may operate an aircraft in a careless or reckless manner so as to endanger the life or property of another.
and
§ 91.119 Minimum safe altitudes: General.
Except when necessary for takeoff or landing, no person may operate an aircraft below the following altitudes:
(d) Helicopters. Helicopters may be operated at less than the minimums prescribed in paragraph (b) or (c) of this section
if the operation is conducted without hazard to persons or property on the surface.
In addition, each person operating a helicopter shall comply with any routes or altitudes specifically prescribed for helicopters by the Administrator.
Local zoning laws may prohibit it , check w/ you local zoning authority

there are some restrictions. Perhaps contact FAA and see what this restrictions are including federal, State or City ordinances.

NO FEDERAL restrictions. The FAA says you can land anywhere you do not present an undue hazard to persons or property. However, local/city ordinances can prevent this from happening.
