One Response to Large Real Estate in Ireland?

  1. You don’t say what part of Ireland you are particularly interested in, or where your roots are.

Lots of farms are for sale in Ireland on the internet, but you are very unlikely to find thousands of acres in one go. Most farms are small, anwhere from 10 to100 acres or sometimes more, and to get the size you want, you would need to buy out everybody in the area or settle for disconnected parcels of land scattered all over the place

has two farms, each approx. 100 acres, and in much the same locality, though they may not be close together.

has various larger properties, including one with 241 acres land plus one-fifth share of 500 acres commonage

perhaps exactly what you are looking for. 5,000 Acres and a period house that looks smashing. And on the same webpage, another place (different area) with 286 acres.

What did you put in your search? I put ‘acres for sale Ireland’ into a yahoo search, and got the above in a few minutes. If I spent longer, who knows what I might have found?
