basically you want to find out several things.
    1. Has the land been zoned for residential construction?
    2. Has the land been perc’ed?
    3. What are the environmental impacts of you building on the land?

There are many things that go into the pre-planning of construction, but the good news is that people do it all the time. Your first step is to contact your local permit office to find out what you need to do first.

Many people hire a construction company, and allow the construction company to handle all of the pre-planning and engineering on your behalf- but if you can learn to do some of the leg work, you’ll save yourself thousands of dollars.

  3. It sounds like you have all your answers but, am still paranoid about it for some reason. If it’s been approved what more do you want?

I don’t care what the environmental impact is. The only problem you have is what kind of soil is it. This will dictate what type of foundation you will need to install. Build your house man/woman

    God Bless
