perhaps you could pay them for an audit of the property.

Even a novice can build, plumb, and electrically wire a home as long as it passes all the inspection codes and is properly inspected. Be sure that the person has a copy of the required codes for your area as codes change from municipality to municipality.

A homeowner can do his own repairs and modifications. If a building permit was issued by the county, the work done has to be in compliance with the uilding code before the permit is cleared. If the work done is within guidelines, it doesn’t matter who does the work.

You should only have to disclose flaws in the house. If the plumbing works fine and there have been no problems there is nothing to disclose.
