How do you shop for a mortgage?

What are good websites to go to in order to shop for a mortgage? Any other suggestions would be great.

    This is serious. Type your email address into any website advertising mortgages and you will receive more offers to refinance than you need, for the rest of your life.

    websites arent going to be able to give you an accurate quote. There is no way for them to know your credit picture or what is on you 1003 ( loan app).
    You need a live loan officer for that…

    bob is right get with a local mortgage banker and you will not be hounded with offers that are from all over the country and do not know your area
