cant log into my xp home screen?

Im running Windows XP. When i go to log on my user account, it logs me in then straightlogs me out, I've tried to run it in safe mode, it brings me back to the log on screen, i log in and it does the same thing.
Please help me
I've tryed logging in to administrator but
the same thing happens
anything else

    try to log in from administrator account..it should work..
